Users want identical materials—used in different locations or assemblies within the same project—to be grouped into a single row with the total quantity when exporting to Excel. This consolidated view makes it possible to quickly generate comprehensive purchase lists (e.g., the total number of gypsum boards for the entire construction site) without having to manually add up the quantities from each section. This feature is already available in the product: users can achieve this result by changing the display order to select “No Group” or by using the “Tasks with Total Quantities per Item” report before exporting to Excel.
