Automatic Incrementing of Submission and Project Numbers

Several users have requested the ability to automatically increment submission or project numbers (e.g., 1000, 1001) each time a new entry is created. Currently, manual entry takes extra time and makes it more difficult for contractors to manage and track their files. The team has confirmed that the core functionality has already been developed, but that certain usage logic still needs to be finalized (for example, determining whether the number should be retained or regenerated when duplicating an existing project).
